The most open minded group of individuals in the choir, who are ready to accept any task thrown at them even if it means challenging set musical norms and the sound barrier.
Ashwin Started his musical carrier at the age of nine when he joined the Primary Choir of St. Benedict’s College. He was trained by Robert Joseph where he was able to win competitions at Zonal and Island Level. He moved into the Senior Choir of St Benedict’s College in 2002, where trained under Ravine George and Krishan Rodrigo he later became the leader of the choir in the years 2009/2010. During his college career Ashwin has been part of a few sold out Debut choral shows which were “Song Shine” in 2002, “Vochestra” in 2003, “Up Where We Belong Featuring Voice Print” in 2005 and “September” in 2009. Ashwin was involved in Theatre and has been a part of the Benedictine Shakes Pear productions in the years 2007-2009 directed by Jerome L. de Silva. He was the Deputy head Prefect of College for the years 2009/2010 and also was a member of the first fifteen Rugby team of College from 2007-2009.
While Concentrating on his Higher studies after leaving college He became a part of the award winning all male A-Capella group “Voice Print” in 2010 where he stepped into a professional career in music and developed himself as a soloist and had the privilege of working with many renowned musicians. He Joined “Vocal Enigma” in 2012 and has been a part of the outfit ever since and has contributed to shows such as “ The Playlist” and “Kennel Rock” directed by Maneesh Dasanayake. Ashwin is also a part of the Old Bens Jubilee Choir which was formed for 150years Celebrations of College and was a part of the Debut production “Our Own Show” Featuring all Benedictine Musicians.
Ashwin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration from University College, Dublin and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from University of West London.
Chathuranga started his musical journey from a very young age. Music was always a passion growing up, his father being a tremendous inspiration with his amazing melodious voice and his mother always there to support him.
He was trained vocally by Mrs. Haasinee Andree and the late Mrs. Irangani Wickremasinghe to whom he is ever so grateful to laying the foundation that brought him this far.
As a student of St. Peter's College he was an active and passionate member of the choir throughout his school career.
Chathuranga is also a passionate “improvisational pianist” as he likes to put it. He finds his forte of signing to be classical music specially opera.
He was introduced to the world of theater by Mrs. Rangika Karunaratne under who's tutelage he was able to combine his love for music and new found passion for theater. As a founding member of Cue Theatre Co. under the direction of Mrs. Rangika Karunaratne he had the opportunity of taking on a wide array of roles in their productions. He is also the vocal and choral director of Cue Theater Co.
His choral background stands with The Peradeniya Singers, Gospel Singers, Christian arts foundation choir, The Peterite Chorale and Vocal Enigma under the guidance of many aspired choral directors.
“Love art in yourself, and not yourself in art” -Konstantin Stanislavski- He is a firm believer of this quote always willing to learn something new and to support anyone, anyway he can with regard to the arts.
Harold has been a part of vocal enigma since 2012; from the time it was initiated and started in srilanka, and has proudly been a part of all its major concerts.
As a profession,He takes pride in having a successful career in the banking industry, having over 10 years of vast experience.
He is also a well known personality in the entertainment and media industry, working as a Radio presenter with a well known radio station.
Besides these his interests also lies in photography, events, gaming & movies which he loves doing during his leisure hours.

Jeremy joined Vocal Enigma in 2013. He is a Wesleyite chorister with a passion for music and theatre and other art forms. Has worked with director's such as Jerome De silva and Jake orloff in Daniel and The Gaza Monologues. Works in the digital media advertising industry and is also a social media enthusiast and blogger.
Ryan Henderlin joined Vocal Enigma in 2013. Music has been an integral part of his life. Ryan Henderlin started his singing career as a member of the St.Peter’s College Senior Choir under the direction of Ms. Haasinee Halpe, and he was also a part of other Choir groups. He also has a passion for drama which was discovered later on.
He has performed in productions such as ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ and ‘Our Town’. He enjoys integrating his experience in Theatre to give a captivating performance in his Singing. Currently working full time and is studying for his Bsc. In Management and Finance while pursuing Music since his passion lies there.
Been called by various names from Bruno, Moose and others due to his hair style which he proudly embraces, the name Bruno is what Vocal Enigma address him by most. Ryan is also the winner of the Reality Singing competition ‘Yes Superstar Season 3’

Music has been a big part of life from the early years, Being a product of St Peters college, Colombo 4 the opportunities and exposure received to nurture the talent was immense. He has been a part of many alternative rock bands in the early years after college as a vocalist/guitarist. Joined vocal enigma from inception as a tenor and have been a part of the group ever since. He is a banker in profession.
